The Indian Air Force (Bhartiya Vayu Sena) has released a short notice for the AFCAT 01/2026 Batch (January 2027 Course) for Flying Branch and Ground Duties (Technical & Non-Technical). The online application process will begin from 10 November 2025 and continue till 09 December 2025. Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply. Eligibility Details

Entry Type Branch Qualification
AFCAT Entry Flying Passed 12th with Physics and Mathematics (minimum 50% marks) and Bachelor’s Degree with at least 60% marks.
Ground Duty (Technical) Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics): 12th with Physics and Maths (50%) and 4-year Graduation or Integrated PG Degree in Engineering/Technology.
Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical): 12th with Physics and Maths (50%) and 4-year Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aeronautical, or related field.
Ground Duty (Non-Technical)
Weapon Systems (WS) 12th with Physics and Maths (50%) and Bachelor’s Degree with 60% marks.
Administration and Logistics Bachelor’s Degree with 60% marks.
Accounts Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with minimum 60% marks.
Education Postgraduate Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks.
NCC Special Entry Flying NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ Certificate and other eligibility as per Flying Branch requirements.
Meteorology Entry Meteorology B.Sc. with Physics and Mathematics (minimum 60% marks).
