The written examination (excluding Junior Translator post) will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The question paper will be of objective type. A provision of negative marking of one-third (1/3rd) marks will be applicable for each incorrect answer. The total duration of the examination will be 90 minutes.

| Junior Translator-Hindi Exam Pattern | |

| Stage | Details |
| Computer Based Test (CBT) | A single-stage Computer Based Test will be conducted. The question paper will be framed to assess proficiency in both English and Hindi languages equally. A minimum of 50% questions will be related to language skills, comprising 20% from English and 30% from Hindi. The remaining questions will evaluate General Knowledge, General Intelligence, basic Arithmetic, and fundamental Computer knowledge. The detailed syllabus for the language section is provided in the official notification (Annexure-VII). |
| Translation Test | The Translation Test will be conducted after the CBT and will be qualifying in nature. Candidates up to ten times the number of notified vacancies will be shortlisted for this test based on merit in the CBT, subject to applicable reservation rules. The minimum qualifying marks for the Translation Test are fixed at 60%. This test will not be included in the main examination marks. |
| Preparation of Merit List | The final merit list for the Junior Translator post will be prepared solely on the basis of marks obtained in the CBT. Candidates who fail to secure the minimum qualifying marks in the Translation Test will not be considered for further stages of selection. |
