Syllabus Overview

Subject	Description
General Intelligence and Reasoning	Analytical aptitude and pattern recognition abilities will be assessed primarily through non-verbal type questions. The section may include topics such as analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, figural classification, number series, non-verbal series, coding-decoding, etc.
General Knowledge and General Awareness	This section will evaluate the candidate's general awareness of the surrounding environment. It includes questions on current events and everyday observations with a scientific perspective. Topics cover India and its neighboring countries, especially focusing on History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Scientific Research, Sports, etc. No specialized study of any subject is required.
Elementary Mathematics	This section includes questions related to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions, the relationship between numbers, fundamental arithmetic operations, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, mensuration, time and distance, ratio & time, time & work, and related topics.
English / Hindi	This section will test the candidate’s basic understanding and comprehension abilities in English or Hindi.
