The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the official notification for the NDA & NA (I) Examination 2026 under Examination Notice No. 3/2026-NDA-I, dated 10 December 2025. The examination is being conducted for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy (157th Course) and the 119th Indian Naval Academy Course, both of which are scheduled to commence on 1 January 2027.

The online application process is now open. Eligible candidates may submit their applications via the official UPSC website. Applicants must ensure they meet all prescribed eligibility criteria relating to age, educational qualifications and physical standards prior to applying.

The NDA examination is one of India’s premier defence entrance examinations, offering candidates the opportunity to join the Armed Forces as commissioned officers.
